# MarketPulse: How to Download Data to Excel

## Use the download icon in MarketPulse to export any dataset as an Excel spreadsheet.

Here is a quick video to watch step by step [how to download MarketPulse data to excel](https://www.loom.com/share/6edf02c86d3b4fb89a5de5f439154cd6).

Depending on which section you are downloading from, you will either receive the Excel export directly in your browser or see a notification in the platform.

1\. Click the down arrow icon in the corner of a widget to export the data from that specific widget. The file will automatically download to your computer.

2\. When you download from the Market Stream section, you will receive both a platform notification—shown by a red number on the bell icon—and an email notification like the one below:
